Trees are recurrent in my work, they are the other companion, they offer a way of representing roots, belonging, shelter, endurance, strength, stability but in today’s world they can show the exact opposite because of the destruction of our eco system…the tree as a silent witness or as the memory of the soil uprooted by man.
